Mantodeus was founded by Stanley McKay. He comes from stonemasonry and the restoration of historic buildings in Scotland. Rope work followed in 2022. The craft principle stayed the same: understand what is in front of you, and build nothing the next person has to repair.
We work in Berlin and Brandenburg: facade inspections by rope access, net installation, bird control, tiling and drywall.
Under TRBS 2121 Part 3 and the DGUV rules.
Our rope access technicians are IRATA or FISAT certified. Behind that are documented training, rope hours in a logbook and equipment inspected every year. We always work with two independent ropes.

Stanley grew up in stone houses his father built in Scotland and Portugal, and learned the craft from the ground up: natural stone and lime mortar, dry stone walls without a bag of cement, restoration of listed facades in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
