Privacy policy

The essentials first

This website sets no cookies, loads no analytics or tracking scripts and embeds no content from third-party servers. Fonts are part of the website and are delivered with it, not loaded from Google Fonts or other third-party providers. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is simply nothing you would have to consent to. The only locally stored information is your choice between light and dark design (your browser's localStorage); it does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us.

Hosting and server log data

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (European branch: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich). When the pages are called up, the provider processes technically necessary connection data (incl. IP address, time of access, file requested, User-Agent) in order to deliver the website and safeguard the security of its operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is stored only as long as is necessary for operation and security. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission under Art. 45 GDPR); details are in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Getting in touch

If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we process the data you send us (name, contact details, the content of your enquiry, photos of your property where applicable) in order to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you use WhatsApp, the privacy notice of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies; please do not send sensitive data there. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for that and no statutory retention obligations (e. g. § 147 AO) stand in the way.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Berlin with the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
